RTX mod. BC611-F- (U.S.A. 1943) - First handietalkie radio set for foot combat troops, used in II Ww and Corea conflict. Consist of a five-tube, low power, dry battery operated radio receiver and trasmitter, AM two way communucation for short distances. Frequency range: 3,5 - 6,0 MHz (in any one of 50 channel crystal controlled). I.F. = 455 kHz, valves: (2) 3S4, (1) 1R5, (1) 1T4, (1) 1S5. Power requirements: dry batteries type: BA-37 +1,5 V (filament supply), BA-38 +103,5 V (plate supply). Total weight 1,746 Kg.
