Geloso G255-SP -
Geloso S.A. - Viale Brenta, 29 Milano - Italia - 1955. Commercializzato nella metà degli anni '50 il Geloso G255 contribuì a diffondere in Italia l'uso del magnetofono e non solo negli uffici come dittafono ma come apparecchio ad uso familiare per registrare voci e musica. Il registratore è prodotto nella fabbrica della ditta Magnetofoni Castelli con il marchio della Geloso. Con due velocità di scorrimento del nastro il G255 poteva riprodurre voci, suoni e musica con una buona fedeltà. Il circuito utilizzava tre valvole: un doppio triodo noval 12AX7, il pentodo di potenza noval 35D5 e la DM70 un occhio magico subminiatura che serviva come indicatore di livello sonoro. La tensione anodica era fornita da un raddrizzatore al selenio tipo E150-C65 collegato alla presa 160 Vac dell'autotrasformatore di alimentazione. Il diametro delle bobine di nastro magnetico era di 8,4 cm, le velocità di scorrimento del nastro erano di 4,75 and 9,5 cm/sec e la risposta in frequenza era da 80 a 8.000 Hz a 9,5 cm/s. Il microfono era un piezoelettrico Geloso mod. T-32. L'alimentazione avveniva tramite rete elettrica con cambio tensione da 110, 125, 140, 160, 220 Vac 50 Hz. Geloso S.A. - Avenue Brenta, 29 - Milano - Italy 1955. Marketed in the mid-1950s, the Geloso G-255 helped spread the use of the tape recorder in Italy, not only in offices as a dictaphone but as a family device for recording voices and music. The recorder is produced in the Magnetofoni Castelli factory under the Geloso brand. With two tape speeds, the G-255 could reproduce voices, sounds and music with good fidelity. The circuit used three valves: a 12AX7 noval double triode, the power pentode with UL41 rimlock socket and the DM70, a subminiature magic eye that served as a sound level indicator. The diameter of the magnetic tape reels was 3.3 in, the tape running speeds were 1.87 e 3.74 in/sec and the frequency response was 80 to 8,000 Hz at 3.74 in/sec. The microphone was a Geloso piezoelectric mod. T-32. The power supply was via mains with voltage change from 110, 125, 140, 160, 220 Vac 50 Hz.
