Magnetofono a nastro portatile transistorizzato, il circuito utilizza sei transistor, tre al silicio e tre al germanio: BC107, BC107, BC107, OC76, AC128, AC127, l'amplificatore è mono con uscita di 0,8 W su un altoparlante magnetodinamico ellittico da 18 Ohm. Il registratore è prodotto nella fabbrica della ditta Magnetofoni Castelli con il marchio della Geloso. Il Vanguard registra sul nastro magnetico in doppia traccia, nel senso che rovesciando la bobina si può registrare in totale due tracce della durata di 42 + 42 minuti. Il livello sonoro è regolabile e l'intensità è visibile su uno strumento a lancetta. Il microfono fornito come accessorio è il Geloso + T56 che è dotato di un interruttore con il quale si può avviare o arrestare il movimento del nastro magnetico. Il diametro delle bobine è di 8,4 cm e la velocità di scorrimento del nastro è di 4,75 cm/sec. Il mobiletto è in plastica con maniglia per il trasporto. L'alimentazione è a 12V può avvenire tramite batterie (8 x 1,5 V batterie tipo D), con un accumulatore o batteria d'auto, oppure con la rete elettrica da 105 a 220 V. Portable transistorized tape recorder, the circuit uses six transistors, three silicon and three germanium: BC107, BC107, BC107, OC76, AC128, AC127, the amplifier is mono with 0.8 W output on an elliptical 18 Ohm magnetodynamic speaker. The recorder is produced in the Magnetofoni Castelli factory under the Geloso brand. The Vanguard records on the magnetic tape in double track, in the sense that by reversing the reel you can record a total of two tracks lasting 42 + 42 minutes. The sound level is adjustable and the intensity is visible on a pointer instrument. The microphone supplied as an accessory is the Geloso + T56 which is equipped with a switch with which you can start or stop the movement of the magnetic tape. The diameter of the reels is 8.4 cm and the speed of the tape is 4.75 cm/sec. The cabinet is made of plastic with a handle for transport.
