D C D  - Italy ~1970

D C D - Italy ~1970 - Inexpensive portable receiver, with Medium Wave and Short Wave reception, superheterodyne circuit  using a mixed set of germanium and silicon transistors, to listen to short waves it was necessary to completely extract the whip antenna.

The cabinet was made of plastic with a carrying handle. Power was supplied by two 4.5 V batteries or via the mains and internal 220 Vac power supply. Evident errors in the wording on the top right-hand side of the dial scale, OG should have been OC (Onde Corte) that mean "Short Waves" and the near Kc should have been Mc (MHz).
