G.E. P1757B - General Electric Co - Bridgeport CT, Syracuse NY - U.S.A. 1968. La P1757B è una radio a transistor tascabile prodotta in Hong Kong dalla Electronic Industry Ltd, una sussidiaria asiatica della General Electric e commercializzata a partire dal 1968. La radio ha il mobiletto in plastica bicolore; la P1757B in mio possesso è bianca e nera. La radio permette la ricezione delle Onde Medie da 550 a 1630 kHz con Frequenza Intermedia a 455 kHz e il circuito utilizza dei transistor tipo NPN. L'antenna è avvolta su nucleo di ferrite e l'altoparlante è da 8 Ohm / 0,2 W con il diametro di 5,7 cm. La G.E. P1757 è alimentata tramite una batteria zinco carbone tipo Neda 1604 (6F22) da 9V. The P1757B is a pocket transistor radio manufactured in Hong Kong by Electronic Industry Ltd., an asian subsidiary of General Electric, and marketed starting in 1968. The radio has a two-tone plastic cabinet; the P1757B I own is black and white. The radio allows broadcast reception from 550 to 1630 kHz with an intermediate frequency of 455 kHz, and the circuit uses NPN transistors. The antenna is wound on a ferrite core, and the speaker is 8 Ohm / 0.2 W, and had a diameter of 2.25 inches. G.E. P1757 is powered by a 9V Neda type 1604 (6F22) zinc-carbon battery.
