Piccolo ricevitore supereterodina dell'inizio anni '50. Riceve solo le Onde Medie (516-1605 Kc/s), impiega cinque valvole serie miniatura a sette piedini con filamenti in serie: 12BE6, 12BA6, 12AT6, 50B5, 35W4. La sintonia avviene tramite induttanza variabile e la Frequenza Intermedia è a 455 kHz. Il mobiletto è realizzato in materiale plastico, nel mio esemplare è di color panna, ha la scala parlante orizzontale obliqua disposta sulla parte superiore con le manopole di accensione-volume e di sintonia collocate ai lati, l'altoparlante è del tipo magnetodinamico con diametro di 10 cm e con impedenza di 3,2 Ohm. L'alimentazione avviene tramite rete elettrica a 120 V senza trasformatore, ma con un adattatore esterno che nell'esemplare in mio possesso può variare da 110 a 160 Vac spostando un ponticello. Un capo della rete è a massa, perciò è assolutamente vietato toccare lo chassis della radio con la spina collegata alla presa elettrica. Le dimensioni sono: 24 x 14 x 11 cm. IK3HIA © 2005 - 2025. |

Giovanni (Milan), Italy - 1953. Small superheterodyne receiver from the early 1950s. It receives only Medium Waves (516-1605 Kc/s), uses five miniature seven-pin series tubes with series filaments: 12BE6, 12BA6, 12AT6, 50B5, 35W4. Tuning is via variable inductance and the Intermediate Frequency is 455 kHz. The cabinet is made of plastic material, in my example it is cream colored, it has the oblique horizontal dial placed on the upper part with the power-volume and tuning knobs located on the sides, the speaker is a magnetodynamic type with a diameter of 3.9 inches and an impedance of 3.2 Ohm. The power supply is via a 120 V mains without a transformer, but with an external adapter, as in the model in my possession, can vary from 110 to 160 Vac by moving a jumper. One end of the mains is grounded, so it is absolutely forbidden to touch the chassis of the radio with the plug connected to the electrical outlet. The dimensions are: 9.4 x 5.5 x 4.3 inch.
