SSB Transceiver
Heathkit mod. HW-101 (U.S.A. 1971). The transceiver receives and
trasmits SSB (single sideband) and CW (continous wave) signals on
80 through 10 meter amateur bands. Specification, receiver:
sensitivity less than 0.3 microvoltfor SSB operation; selectivity
2,1 kHz minimum at 6 db down. Transmitter: RF power output: 100 W
on 80 through 15 meters, 80 W on 10 meters (50 ohm antenna load).
Dial calibration 5 kHz/division, 100 kHz crystal. Tubes employed
n° 20: (1) OA2, (2) 6HS6, (4) 6AU6, (1) 6BN8, (1) 6CB6, (1) 6CL6,
(4) 6EA8, (1) 6GW8, (2) 12AT7, (1) 12AU7, (2) 6146 RF Final
amplifiers. Transistors: (1) MPF-105 Fet-VFO; (1) 2N3393 Voltage
regulator. The Speaker mod. SB-600 has inside the Power Supply
mod. HP-23B that provide 700 V at 250 mA, 300 V at 150 mA, -115 V
at 10 mA and 12 V ac/dc at 4,76 A. Net input 220 V AC. Weight: 7,9
kg the RTX and 8 kg the speaker/power supply. |
