Zenith mod. Deluxe Royal
755LK - Chicago, Illinois, USA 1961. This portable radio was a very nice
60's equipment, embellished by a genuine leather made case. It was a
development of the model 755, with the addition of a save battery system
activated by a switch in the front panel. The circuit is a superetherodyne with
8 PNP Zenith
germanium transistors: 121-150, 121-179, 121-185, 121-180, 121-181,
121-192, 121-193, 121-193. The tuning capacitor is an air insulation
type, the antenna is a long flat ferrite bar with tuning coil on. The power requirements
are done by six 1,5 v C (R14) size
batteries, that allow a discrete autonomy, but they are inside a
complicate battery case. The sound is warm like in all
the Zenith radios. The dimensions are: 23 x 14 x 11 cm. |

degli anni 60, impreziosito dal mobiletto in vera pelle. Esso fu uno
sviluppo del precedente modello 755, con l'aggiunta di un circuito per
il risparmio delle batetrie attivato da un interruttore sul pannello
frontale. Il circuito e' del tipo supereterodina con 8 PNP transistors
al germanio della Zenith: 121-150, 121-179, 121-185, 121-180, 121-181,
121-192, 121-193, 121-193. Il condensatore variabile e' ad aria,
l'antenna e' una lunga e piatta bacchetta di ferrite con avvolta sopra
la bobina di sintonia. l'alimentazione e' fornita da sei 1,5 v batterie
tipo C (R14), che permettono una discreta autonomia, ma che sono
inserite in un complicato portapile. Il suono e' forte e caldo come in
tutte le radio della Zenith. Le dimensioni sono: 23 x 14 x 11 cm.
