I was Born in 1948 in Italy, I assembled my first crystal receiver in 1959 and my first transmitter in 1961 using an 807 tube that Raimondo I1TI gave me with the necessary know-how. I attended the tecnical college in my city and achieved a radio engineering diploma in 1968. I worked for a worldwide computer company for 30 years. I am keen on radios but also on astronomy and photography, I like to read books expecially regarding history, adventure and science fiction stories. I like also to go for beautiful mountain walks, and to riding my bicycle. I like to collect old coins and old photo cameras.

Classe del 1948, ho realizzato il mio primo ricevitore a galena nel 1959 e il mio primo trasmettitore nel 1961, utilizzando una valvola 807 regalatami, con le necessarie istruzioni per l'uso, da Raimondo all'epoca I1TI. Ho frequentato l'Istituto Tecnico Industriale, di Vicenza conseguendo il diploma di perito in radiotecnica nel 1968. Ho lavorato per trent'anni nel campo dei computer. Appassionato di radio, ma anche di astronomia e di fotografia, sono un accanito lettore di libri specialmente di storia, romanzi d'avventura e di fantascienza. Mi piacciono le belle passeggiate in montagna e i giri in bicicletta. Colleziono anche monete antiche e vecchie macchine fotografiche

The wonderful villa shown in QSL is the famous "Villa La Rotonda", located near Vicenza and constructed by Andrea Palladio about in 1570. This famous architect has realized many buildings in Vicenza, so that the town is named "Palladio's City".
